ETO MAGNETIC GmbH as an innovation-driven company with the corporate objective of ensuring sustainable growth in independence for the benefit of its employees and the region has decided to prepare a sustainability report. This is reviewed by the German Sustainability Code Office.
In the Sustainability Code, the company discloses the sustainability strategy it is pursuing and the specific measures it is taking to act in accordance with the essential and recognized industry-specific, national and international standards.

ALFRIED, a pioneering new project funded with over 11 million euros by the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI), has started at the Friedrichshafen test area. ALFRIED stands for "Automated and Connected Driving in logistics at the Friedrichshafen test field." A consortium of 11 project partners, including the ETO GRUPPE, has joined forces until the end of June 2023 to optimize the increasing inner-city transport of goods and factory traffic by trucks with the help of Automated and Connected Driving (ACD) as part of the project. The city of Friedrichshafen is an associated partner in the project. The aim of ALFRIED is to develop a comprehensive mobility system to reduce the transport of goods between company plants. The aim is to save journeys, reduce emissions and relieve traffic in cities.

This year, ETO MAGNETIC GmbH ranks among Germany’s most innovative mid-sized companies. The Stockach-based company is being presented with the TOP 100 seal of approval, now being awarded for the 24th time, by Ranga Yogeshwar, Professor Nikolaus Franke and compamedia. ETO MAGNETIC has joined this innovative elite for the second time. The company made a particularly strong impression in the independent selection process thanks to its success in innovation.

Together with its project partners Filancore GmbH and the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt, ETO GRUPPE has received funding funding for the TRADE project as part of the BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) announcement "KMU-innovativ: Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien". TRADE stands for TRustworthy Autonomous Driving by DEcentralized Authentication and Authorization and deals with the research and development of an identity management solution and original parts protection of in-car components taking into account all stakeholders in the automotive life cycle based on distributed ledger technology.

The Stockach-based ETO GRUPPE invests in the start-up company Filancore GmbH. Its innovative and secure solution for digital authentication within the Internet of Things enables the ETO GRUPPE to take another step closer to its vision:
