The Nuremberg location did anything but take it easy on May 17, 2023, but very actively implemented the anniversary motto "ETO in Motion". The celebration of the 75th anniversary of the company took place in the West Bowl Bowlingcenter in Nuremberg. After a speech by our COO Björn Schneekloth and the presentation of the 75th anniversary trophy, our Nuremberg colleagues put their bowling skills to the test on 13 lanes. For refreshment, there was a rich burger buffet where everyone could put together their own desired burger. A highlight of the celebration was the presentation of a self-painted painting by ETO employee Elina Dimitriadou. This painting of a tree as a symbol of a strong and growing community is put together with the paintings of the other locations to form the big picture of ETO in its 75th year. A beautiful, moving celebration that Nuremberg has put together!
In Vaihingen, a wine experience hike with an oenologist in the Vaihingen district of Roßwag was on the agenda on July 10, 2023. The wine expert took the ETO employees of our Vaihingen location as well as the ETO managing directors Dr. Michael Schwabe and Björn Schneekloth on a tour through the picturesque vineyards of the medieval district. In the process, they all had some very exciting sensory experiences. After all, wine hardly tastes the same when you hold your nose while tasting it, and tastes completely different depending on what you see or hear in addition. The hike was followed by an interesting tour of the wine press of the Lembergerland winery and finally a delicious meal together as a crowning conclusion. In short: This day was a pleasure for all senses.
Two days later, on July 12, 2023, the 75th anniversary of ETO was celebrated in Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance at ETO DYNAMIC Digital and the ETO subsidiary farmunited. The kick-off took place at the Gierer fruit farm in Oberdorf near Langenargen - in a machine hall in the middle of an orchard. Young farmer Christoph Gierer not only tests prototypes for farmunited, but also already uses the innovative agricultural products in his everyday work. His live demonstration of the products and his presentation were an exciting highlight for the ETO and farmunited employees, but also for our ETO managing directors Dr. Michael Schwabe and Björn Schneekloth. Fun and enjoyment were not neglected either: After the homemade and highly sought-after plait from "Mother Gierer", we went bowling, in line with the motto ETO IN MOTION, and to round off the day we went to a pizzeria. An unforgettable anniversary celebration!
