ETO MAGNETIC is one of Germany’s Most Attractive Employers 2021 among automotive suppliers. This seal of approval signals the high standards lived at ETO to customers and employees. In times of a shortage of skilled workers and changing values, this is particularly important for the recruiting process. For qualified and committed employees, soft criteria such as working climate, working conditions and a good work-life balance are particularly important, in addition to appropriate pay and optimal career opportunities. These are all factors that the renowned F.A.Z. Institute took a closer look at and rated as positive at ETO.

Together with the Institute for Management and Economic Research (OMWF), the F.A.Z Institute analyzed social listing data for over 18,200 companies. They identified what is written and discussed about the companies on the Internet and on social media. The study examined employer performance, performance in the areas of profitability, product & services, family friendliness, sustainability and management. In parallel, the companies received a structured questionnaire covering seven topics: job security, working hours, salary structure, development and training opportunities, communication, family friendliness and additional benefits. The results were then combined to create an overall ranking using a points system.

“We are proud to be ranked among the most attractive employers in the country by an extensive study,” says CEO Dr. Michael Schwabe. “We place a lot of emphasis on different working time models and for example offer a very good onboarding program for new employees with the ETO ACADEMY, which we carried out digitally in recent months due to Corona,” Dr. Michael Schwabe continues. Digital workplaces are a new differentiator among prospective employees and a sign of a well-functioning digital infrastructure. ETO knows that social relationships with colleagues and superiors, loyalty to the company, and especially open communication play a major role in employee satisfaction. Qualified personnel is scarce, which makes it all the more important for both sides to find the right job partner. The goal of the study is to put employees in touch with the companies that are right for them and makes the application process much more effective.
