In adjustable engine oil pumps, 3/2 or 4/3 proportional valves by ETO ensure variable adjustment of the output/pump capacity to the speed.
As 3/2-On/Off solenoid valves, they are used in the two-stage switchable oil pump, ensuring ideal adjustment of the pump capacity to two different engine speed ranges.
This variable control means that we are able to ensure a sustainable reduction of CO2 consumption.
A switchable water pump is part of the thermal management and serves to increase the efficiency of a combustion engine. The power consumption of the pump is decreased, which leads to quicker heating of the engine and engine oil, thus reducing CO2 emissions.
The ETO GRUPPE develops and manufactures customised switching valve solenoids for controlling and regulating these switchable water or coolant pumps in the cooling circuit.
Actively regulated landing gears are supplied via a hydraulic pump, which is usually a radial piston pump. This is controlled on the suction side (suction throttle).

ETO pressure sensors for pneumatic and electronically controlled air suspension systems (air suspension systems for level control) are used in towing vehicles, semitrailers and trailers. The sensors record the bellows and system pressures of the vehicles. In accordance with the vehicle load, the deflection height of the air suspension can be controlled using supply and exhaust air through the ETO solenoid valves. Tractors and trailers can thus be regulated on all axes and driven with a high level of comfort. As well as this, the combination and tuning of the air suspension with the braking systems creates a substantial safety advantage compared to vehicles without air suspension.
